Invitation to Scholars Day
Participation in Scholars Day is by invitation only. Students must meet the eligibility requirements to be considered for an invitation to Scholars Day. Eligibility requirements for freshmen entering 2009 are subject to change. The eligibility requirements used for students entering in 2008 were:
- Be admitted to Wayne State University by January 15 (apply online at www.apply.wayne.edu)
- Have ACT or SAT scores on record with Wayne State University by January 15
- Have a cumulative high school grade-point average of at least 3.50 at the end of the junior year in high school
Eligibility requirements for 2009 will be available by Summer 2008.
Scholars Day for students entering WSU in fall 2009 will be held Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 7, 8, 14 and 15.

Invitations are sent beginning November 2008. Program dates will be in February 2009.
What
Scholars Day is an invitation only event for our incoming freshmen. The event is an opportunity to earn a scholarship and entry in to the Honors program.
