Scholars Day Agenda
Dates for Scholars Day 2010 are February 6, 7, 13 and 14, 2010.
Check-in for participants and their families begins in Community Arts Center [map], at 8:30 a.m. Parking is available in Parking Structure #1 [map], located at the corner of Cass Ave. and Palmer Ave.
Highlights include:
- Opening Ceremony with welcome from Provost Nancy Barrett, Honors Dean Jerry Herron, and Dean of Students David Strauss
- Small-group conversations with Wayne State faculty, staff, alumni and friends
- Academic Resource Fair with representatives from dozens of academic departments, student life offices and campus service units
- Lunch in one of Wayne State's residential dining facilities
- Campus tours
Parents are invited to attend a special parent information meeting held during Scholars Day.

What
Scholars Day is an invitation only event for our incoming freshmen. The event is an opportunity to earn a scholarship and entry in to the Honors program.
