Welcome to a community of learners
Scholars Day is a series of invitation-only events during which the Irvin D. Reid Honors College recruits its freshman class from the university’s most promising first-year applicants. During the event, students will write an essay, participate in a roundtable, attend an academic resource fair, enjoy lunch in one of our residence halls, and have opportunities to take a tour of campus.
Every student who is invited and participates in Scholars Day receives an award. For those who attend, the minimum award amount for the 2012 Scholars Day will be a tuition scholarship of $6,000 a year for four consecutive academic years.
