Due to the tremendous response to December’s Distinguished Scholars Symposium, the Irvin D. Reid Honors College will not be holding a Scholars Day event in February. Students who are admitted to Wayne State University by Jan. 15 with a minimum high school GPA of 3.5 and a minimum ACT of 23 will be notified of their merit scholarship award starting in January. The best and brightest students who apply to Wayne State between Nov. 15 and Jan. 15 will be invited to an exclusive Honors College event, scheduled to take place in February. Invitations will be sent to qualifying students in mid-January and will include merit scholarship award information.
